قام الاستعمار الفرنسي للجزائر على عدّة ركائز منها المادي لتحقيق السيطرة الاقتصادية، والآخر معنوي بالقضاء على مقومات الشعب الجزائري على رأسها الدين الإسلامي، منتهجة سياسة التنصير بأساليب ووسائل متعددة منها التعليم التنصيري، حيث تغلغلت ووصلت إلى الجنوب الجزائري والى منطقة مزاب، فجسّد المنصرون إستراتيجية متكاملة تهدف لاستدراجهم ثم التأثير للوصول إلى هدم مقوماتهم الشخصية الدينية والثقافية والاجتماعية، غير أنه لقي مقاومة واسعة عبّر عنها سكانها بشتى الوسائل والممارسات. يهدف المقال إلى تعليل أسباب اهتمام المنصرين بمنطقة مزاب خصوصا، وتحليل نوايا المشروع التعليمي التنصيري في المنطقة، وتتبّع مراحل تطوره وخصائصه التي تضمن نجاحه، ثم كشف الدسائس التنصيرية ومظاهر المقاومة الثقافية لسكان هذه المنطقة بمختلف أشكالها ومستوياتها. وقد برز جليا في النهاية أن المنصرين راهنوا بشكل كبير على فتح المدارس بما لديهم من إمكانيات، مستعملين دسائس للتسلل إلى قلوب أبناء وفتيات الجزائريين، غير أن هذا المشروع واجه تحفّظا ومقاومة شديدة من أهالي المنطقة. The French colonization of Algeria was based on several pillars, including the physical one, to achieve economic control, the moral one, to eliminate the components of the Algerian people, most notably the Islamic religion, adopting a policy of Christianization through various methods and means, including missionary education, where it penetrated and reached southern Algeria and the Mzab region, so the missionaries embodied an integrated strategy aimed at acceptance and then influence in order to destroy their personal religious, cultural and social components. However, it was met with widespread resistance expressed by its residents through various means and practices. The article aims to explain the reasons for the missionaries’ interest in the Mzab region in particular, analyzes the intentions of the missionary educational project in the Mzab region, and traces the stages of its development and characteristics that guarantee its success, then reveals the missionary intrigues and manifestations of cultural resistance of the residents of the Mzab region in its various forms and levels. It became clear in the end that the missionaries had bet heavily on opening schools with their capabilities, using machinations to infiltrate the hearts of Algerian boys and girls. However, this project faced reservations and strong resistance from the people of the region.
