P. 243 needs corrections: al-Quṭb Muḥ. b. Yūsuf Iṭfayyish never visited Zanzibar. Most of his works were printed in Algeria, in the 1890s. At least 13 works were printed in Cairo, at al-Maṭbaʿa al-Bārūniyya of Muḥ. b. Yūsuf al-Bārūnī, in the second half of the 1880’s. At the Zanzibar press, his Koran Tafsīr entitled Hīmyān al-Zād ilà Dār al-Maʿād (14 vols.) was printed, between 1887 and 1897, and a small other work. Sulaymān al-Bārūnī established Maṭb. al-Azhār al-Bārūniyya (1906), not al-Maṭb. al-Salafiyya, which was of Muḥibb al-Dīn al-Khaṭīb, and in which later, in the 1920s, Abū Isḥāq Ibr. Iṭfayyish (who by the way visited Zanzibar and even married there, see Shaybānī, Sulṭān b. Mubārak 2010a) had a number of the Quṭb’s works printed (see Custers 2006a).
